“Memories of California” Published in The Avalon Literary Review; and More Print Publications
Dear friends and readers,
As always, thank you for your continued support and interest in my poetry. I’m excited to share with you my latest publications and adventures in the world of contemporary poetry.
My poem “Memories of California” has been published in the Winter 2023 issue of The Avalon Literary Review. ALR is based in Florida and edited by Valerie Rubino, who describes it as “dedicated to publishing noteworthy works of poetry, short fiction and personal essays.” She seeks “pieces which spring from the author’s life and experiences.” Fittingly, “Memories of California” is based on an actual road trip through California I took with one of my best friends back in 2015. I’m not gonna give away which Motel 6 exactly it’s referencing, though.
You can order a paper or e-book copy of ALR’s current issue from their website.
In addition to “Memories of California,” more of my poems have been recently published in print. “On Freedom” and “Four Stars” can be found in Vol. 10 of Impspired Magazine, while “Life” and “A Tale of Trees” are featured in Issue 67 of Otoliths Magazine. Each of these poems explores different themes and ideas, from the importance of personal liberty to the magic of the natural world.
I hope that my poetry inspires you to see the world in new ways and find meaning in your own experiences. Whether you’re exploring California or simply taking a walk in your own neighborhood, there is always beauty and inspiration to be found.
Thank you again for your support, and please stay tuned for more updates on my work. And if you’d like to show your support by buying me a coffee, you can do so by clicking here. ☕
